Actually quite the opposite many air frames large ones in particular are immensely strong you would be surprised the stress that many air frames can withstand and not fall apart(which is the goal not to fall apart)That the 767 did not break up shows that it is indeed strong.

Also some recent studies on the Titanics hull indicate that it too was actually quite strong it stayed afloat for quite some time with much strain on its hull and it did not turn over which is quite common even with modern ships.She held up well given the amount of water that she took on personally I think that it was in certain groups interest to blame the ship and not the stupidity of not having enough life boats and of sailing in iceberg laden waters that is asking for trouble no matter how well the ship is designed and made.
