If you had just gone to the nearest port and re-armed without ending patrol - you could have gone straight there.
(I always save my game before entering the harbour, in bunker and start of new patrol)
volodya61 work around should work - set it to 1 day and you should still make it - then remove the mod or change it to some other setting
