Yikes!!! That's a candidate for most obscene mod soup in history. Here's the straight scoop and you can believe it or just forget it. Who am I to be worth listening to.

In a supermod, all factors are so interdependent that tweaking any one of them is likely to make the mod not work properly. This is ESPECIALLY true if you're going to mess with the environmental eye candy. You're going to get so many strange things happening you won't know where to start to fix it.

RFB and TMO have been meticulously tweaked and balanced for years by people who know much more about how to get the game to do what they want than you and I put together. Start doing the light fog and Living Breathing Oceans mods and your AI is going to be so screwed up that the game will either be brain dead, not able to detect you at noon, anchored 3' from a DD or you'll have Superman in the escorts, able to detect you beneath four thermoclines without pinging and rain death on you from an airplane when you're at 400'.

There is only one thing you can do by tweaking a supermod. You can make it worse. You will probably make it MUCH worse. Both sets of modders had a deep disdain for eye candy because it ALWAYS screws up the gameplay. TMO and RFB were made for a single reason: optimized gameplay. Eyecandy was sacrificed every time if it made gameplay better.

Eyecandy lies anyway. How many subs full of holes still submerge fine? How many merchies with no holes visible sink? Eyecandy, beyond what you need to play, contributes nothing to the game but trouble.

Want eyecandy? Go play Unreal Tournament 3. They don't have to be realistic.
