The purpose of playing a game is to have fun and relaxation. For those who want realism, it is available. They don't have to use the add-ons that decrease realism.
But the fun of "what if" adds to the game; having more options, even if not realistic, add to the fun.
SHIII Cmdr has increased my enjoyment of the game greatly.
