I started with the VII-B tipe but is better the IX-B.

I have got a IX-B and is not very different in dive times, only a few seconds compared with the VII and has More torpedos and tubes.
22 torpedoes.6 tubes
I can follow a convoy and attack 5 times ( 6+6+6+4)
with the supercharger i reach 20 knts in calm waters and has a long range at low speeds :|\ .

the patrols could be far away but i have the milk cow mod and i can reload my torpedoes and continue the patrol
