It depends on where you sit or stand to be honest.I am willing to bet that a person sitting on the floor is considered an insurance liability and you are in others way as well pedo or not if you need to sit and look at a book then sit a in place where you can if you are an adult.Grab several books my daughter does this all the time grab some books and look at them pick the one/s that you want.At the same time if a store does not want you sitting on the floor a sign should be posted telling this.

There is too much paranoia and political correctness but to be honest a person sitting on the floor in the middle of a book store is pretty rude.Sit on the floor in front of me and I will tell you to get out of the way.I have seen people obstruct a an isle or even stair way before just to see what people will do they always get disappointed when I show up because I will ask them to get out the way and they will probably because they realize that I am asking nicely but that the cordial behavior will end on my part very quickly if they want to push their luck.

I agree with em2nought as well people are so paranoid about pedos it forces you to be paranoid of being accused of being one honestly I avoid public restrooms at all costs for numerous reasons unless I have no other options you get one of those guys walk up to the next urinal and he is watching you more the himself not my bag.
