Its called a people mover. It's a large tarp with reinforced straps and handles. Most have reinforced skids on the bottom, just thicker plastic pieces, to slide down stairs and such. Took 12 of us to move that one. You always pity the person pulling from the bottom if they get loose on the stairs.
One 700 lb guy I picked up once out of a trailer, he couldnt fit down the hallway, so we had to cut the end of the the trailer off, reach in with the ladder off the fire truck and use that like a crane.
Another patient was a frequent flyer of ours, she weighed about 600. The truck setup for bariatric work wasn't always available, so one day they send an older truck slated for retirement. Well, as we're rolls the cot into position, with her on it, the front wheels fell through the dy rotted floor. They sent the correct truck next time.
