On rare occasions I have borrowed one indeed, though not to go for a Brompton meeting.
If i had free money and would consider buying another bike, I also probably would go with a
Kettwiesel in weather-proof touring configuration, Kettwiesels are extremely comfortable to drive with, and also more agile and fast than one would think when seeing them the first time, their name (meaning chain-weasel) is very well choosen.
But that would cut deeper into my budget than I can afford.
