The ship was definetly red on map and not blue or green. I did get credit for the kill and no penalties.

I am using NationalityMod_v3.0. I'm sure it changes some of the flags.

Here's the best angel and zoom of the flag. I don't believe it was German. The swastika is in the center of the flag if I recall correctly and this flag is red with an emblem in the upper right only canton style.

Maybe a UK Red duster?

These images are autocorrected and filtered for brightness and color. It was very dark.
