I have seen some threads describing a non TDC shot but this one was not planned. Since the manual mentions an X on the note pad and I have seen resetting the TDC mentioned in the forums I Just need to figure out this notepad thing!  I assume it is a nomenclature issue with me but I just cant see it. |
The note pad is for the U-Boats. The US boats don't have one. To reset you have to turn off the red button (Position Keeper or PK) and set the scope to 0. Then click on the heading/range input dial. Then switch to speed and enter 0.
If there is a quicker way, I'd appreciate it if someone would let me know.
