This may be the first time with a website, but it's hardly the first time ever. I have a small book called
Who Were The Founding Fathers? I had thought it would be an in-depth study on the major players, but instead I was very pleasantly surprised. The first chapter is what the founders wrote about themselves and each other. The second is what the next generation wrote about them and so-on.

It's not always pretty. You might be amazed at how each succeeding generation of politicians and pundits have tried to use their predecessors for their own slanted purposes.
