I never said the guy was pea on

just that he violated a military law and then he tries to say that his rights where violated rights as a member of the military he does not fully have that is why the US military has it own laws the UCMJ if you violate an article(law) you can expect to face a court marshal(trial) if you are found guilty you will be punished. And the guy got off pretty light an other than honorable he will be able to appeal it in 6 months and they almost always give on appeal an honorable discharge so he did nor really loose that much and he served no jail time.
I almost half way suspect that maybe the guy wanted to get out of the Marines so he made the Facebook page just in the hopes of getting out and not having to complete the remaining time on his contract.
Plenty of people besides public officials plead the 5th and that is a little more honest than "I do not recall".
Honestly I do not think that you should ever fully trust any elected leader they all have some self interest and they are all lairs because they go around telling everyone that they are a friend and if you just vote for me I'll cut government spending then they tell another chump that they will make the military strong which means increasing government spending which makes them a lair because to one of those two people he just lied.Or Take Mitt Romney for example anyone who honestly thinks that he likes Ted Nugent or the music he plays or anything that he says must be slightly stupid he just got Ted to endorse him because Ted is more than slightly stupid and he knows that there are conservatives that like Ted Nugent(though I doubt that many that actually go out and vote do)
