it DID work wonders for my old rig. it is a little complicated to set up, but patience pays off!

100 background programmes that were eating at my computer power that i needed for my SH3+GWX.
there is an easy walk through guide to download too. this is what i found very helpful as i am not a techno head.
could you maybe buy yourself some more RAM - would this help?
in the end AlacrityPC was what kept me at sea - without it i could not have played my FAVORITE sim - good luck with it
