I suspected as much, having upgraded from an nVidia 260 to 570 (quite a jump) and didn't see much difference. Some, to be sure, but the thing is that SH5 is rather "unusual" in placing a lot of load on the CPU but not a whole lot on the GPU (relatively speaking, and I've also learned that nVidia have, in later generations, unloaded a lot of the work that was previously done by the GPU on the CPU as CPUs are getting bored doing nothing). So I found that my bottleneck is really the CPU. Currently waiting for my new rig with a much better CPU to confirm, and then my new 570 will
really show me what it can do
