Thank you! Ack, feel silly now. I'm sure you're right about the event camera; I've not noticed the radio in my office.
Usually, at that moment, my top concern is changing out the unreliable Mark XIVs for Mark X's. (The date on my current patrol is Feb 1942).
And I'm guessing the "target ID" button mentioned by others is the button that brings up the recognition manual --- which may have more function on auto-targeting; I'm not sure, but I'm using manual targeting.
I installed the TMO/RSRDC mods using JSGME. JSGME is located in C:/Program Files/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific. [Windows 7; perhaps the folder naming conventions are different from Vista. I don't recall.]
I haven't noticed a difference with TMO thus far. At the end of this patrol, I expect an upgrade to a
Porpoise-class sub, which in the stock game has a rear-mounted deck gun. TMO moves all deck guns to forward mounts, so I hope to know for sure, shortly after I shoot my last 6 torpedoes and RTB at the end of this patrol.
I may have downloaded a corrupted copy of TMO or RSRDC. My 'net connection is throttled at 5GB per month, which causes many headaches and may even cause corruption of downloaded files.
