The deck gun thing just happened to me but my home port was Fremantle. I had returned after a patrol and they gave me a new boat. I lost all my purchased upgrades as few they were. The main thing was I also lost the deck gun. There is simply no where to put the men now and the boat itself does not have the gun any longer.
