I didn't mean to say I won't leave the grid for something like that. If I get a contact I can reasonably reach, of course I'll go after it. Also if I go a whole week with no sightings I pretend to send a request in for a change of grid, and then roll a six-sided die. On a '1' I got reassigned, and then roll for direction and distance in grids. After two weeks I get a change on a '1' or '2'. As it happens I once reassigned myself to an even worse grid...
