Hmmm... I did do the tutorial mission, and I believe I remember receiving a cross for it... I took a look-see at the the save file and found this anomaly:

[CampaignProgress.MisResult 23]
IsEmpty=false

All the other .MisResult's are 'true'.
I don't know what it's in regards to, as I have all the crosses for the three I completed. I would hate to switch it without getting to actually sink something, but I am at a loss.
