We really don't want the game to look like this picture of an RC Battleship, do we?  I think most of the time people fall into the "more effects is better" trap and do not consider what things really look like. I have little doubts that this picture I just posted looks prettier than the one from Joe, with brighter colour, reflections, shadows, etc. But what an Uboat commander would see from the bridge is actually what Joe posted! IN the stormy conditions screenshots from the Beta you can clearly see that with no reflections ships look much more realistic.  |
