it is the northern hemisphere after all and the north atlantic is notoriously wicked with the weather. in fact i whish the weather could be moddled even heavier since having seen it in documentaries and film footage. i think the weather in SH3 is great i just whish i could encounter some fog. i think in the six years playing this sim i have hardly ever run into it: whish there was a fog mod
