Werner, you forgot to show the torpedo track turning the wrong way when port was entered instead of starboard! It sure isn't funny when I do it.

Always check the projected torpedo track on the attack map. That will show you which direction the torpedo is turning. It should turn to lead the target by enough to make a nice loud BOOM!

@OP, yes on the U-Boat you always sight the periscope straight ahead on the zero bearing, set the AoB to 90, then lock the TDC to the periscope. That way as you turn the periscope, it will automatically enter the correct AoB into the TDC. Remember! On the German TDC there is no "send info to TDC" button. The TDC is continuously updated by the position of the periscope. If you've got an attack set up, you can't go watch the girls on the beach unless you want to send a nice fast torpedo their way! Move the scope off the target and you've got a bad solution!

U-Boat guys say "how stupid could RR be! Of course that's how it is." Fleet boat guys say "that seems like a really stupid system. No WONDER I've been missing all the time." It's all what you're used to.
