It runs fine two other machines I've tested, both running Win7, one is a geforce 6600 (which predates my 8400 gs), the other has a geforce 9600 GT.
Seems to be a combination of my 8400 gs / hp dc5000 / directx9 / nvidia drivers ......... phase of the moon
