I think that Silent Hunter 3 with GWX3 Gold, SH3 Commander, and additional mods to taste, represents the best WWII U Boat sim you are likely to see fot the next few years.

It's possible that a Publisher might make a new sub sim at some point, but I think that's years down the line....if it happens at all.
