That sounds like you got one heck of a method for gathering solutions. How do you plot for speed? I find that the map measuring tools are off, and the little stopwatch icon in the stadimeter dial to estimate course/speed give me funky readings too. I don't want to resort to turning on map contacts. What geographical part of the state are you from? I'm southwest of the cities.
