Wroxham - aaargh! Roys of Wroxham - Roys IS Wroxham, the only shop in town - when the Golden Arches finally arrived in town it was in (one of) Roys! One cashpoint, and don't even bother in the holiday season - bloody tourists even slower than the tra'ers (tractors for those whom English is a first, second, or even third language  ).
The only good points were having Clem the landlord at the Railway give us a bar tab each month (I very much doubt he's still around), and The Mundesly Royal (or Royal Hotel, Mundesley - I've just double checked the name and it gets some fab ratings at tripadvisor.co.uk) disco nights, and, err, that's about it. Oh, it was my first dealings with a corner shop that opened till 11pm  , how times change! |
Yeah, the A47 was designed by Satans traffic committee. It's probably quicker to take the smaller B roads to Norwich than that thing. Still, it's a bit better than it was, but even so...ugh.
Oh bloody hell, Vanessa...that's going back, she used to drive me mad, well...her and some of the people that showed up...bit like Mr Kyle these days...
