That being said...the game doesn't model the other atmospheric variable; oxygen concentration, either. Were it modeled, you would be required to worry about it separately and ensure it never fell below 17% concentration. If it did, you would either have to surface or sacrifice compressed air to flush out stale air and replace with the relatively fresh air in the compressed tanks. [I would like to see this bit of micromanagement in a mod, for realism]
Perhaps theres an edit that will change this .. someone will find it !
