I was also messing around with TT's tool, and found that really tall smoke columns begin to disply graphical anomalies, such as flickering and temporarily disappearing. Is that happening with you?

So in my smoke mod, I decided to make a much smaller column. Btw, I have an ATI Radeon 9800pro.
