Actually Creme de Cassis is a little different, as they crush the berries.
Aufgesetzter is ethanol or hard liqour, sugar and berries/fruits of your choice - some even use magic mushrooms for it.
Mix it all together in a bottle, leave it for a couple of time then pray to the gods of your choice and drink up

I had some simular liquor in England, nearly 20 years ago, which the local drinkers in the park recommended. It was the cheapest harder stuff, but they warned me that it can make you blind. Can't remember the name, but it was a regular brand. I already had glasses/contacts at this time though
