I have nothing against Squirrrels, but I certainly HATE CATS. They do here at Spain the same damage that squirrels apparently do in other countries of more northern latitudes.
However I would not blow cats in the air if another method of keeping them away is available.
I had a friend who used to shoot at cats that came over night to sleep on the cushions of his sofa on the garden (The cats ruined the polstery and left there fleas), so I once asked him: Why don't you simply store the cushions by night, so the cats don't jump to sleep on them? And he said: Listen, I don't change my behaviour to fit the one of a cat. Instead, either they change theirs to fit mine, or I blow them up"
Quite difficult to argue against that :hmm:
