The earthquake gun is real, but it is more of a ray type thingy.
It is called HAARP, duh!
It is the only thing which explains all the phenomena. You know, the earthquakes and methane leaks all across the south and Pennsylvania. The unexplained subterrainian booms and bird kills. Oh, and sand plumes, musn't forget the sand plumes.
