Anyrate! I'm with Frau Kaleun on this one, figure out what you want and ask for that. Failing that, do as others have done, and set out to fix it yourself!
For example, I'm too lazy to manually plot due to time constraints, and I like the colored contacts because I believe that my watch officer should be able to tell the difference between one of ours and one of theirs, so when I found that NYGM "fixed" that, I found that item and returned it
