UAC = User Account Control, which is either the greatest safeguard for your computer ever invented or a gigantic PITA or somewhere in between depending on one's individual perspective. On my rig, it's turned off - but from what I understand it can make modding any game installed in the Programs folders(s) a real headache since it's designed to prevent changes being made to files located there. |
