Ten years ago and 20 years ago, they set up rules for the Euro union. Granted, the design is incompetent, uinsufficient and dilletantic. But nevertheless we also know and see by now that these rules had been violates from beginning on, and still get violated, bend, turned, ignored, broken.

We remember the corrupted way of the EU when breaking its own rules after public votes prevented the planned European constitution. It then got snkeaed in through the backdoor, with the friontdoors all locked to the public, and under explicit ignorration of the rules one had set up before.

Why is, how could anybody believe that it would be different with new rules being introduced whiule the same violaters of rules are still in place? Will the corruption in Greece all of a sudden come to an end, which would mean an enormous cultural change? Will politicians stop making tax presents that in principle the budget of their states canot afford, just to bribe the voters for the votes? Will actors suddenly stop trying to dodge and avoid rules and laws and treaties? Will the egoism of parties come to an end, and the people in europe by majority all of a sudden become altruistic, reasonable and mpore "European"...?

You know what, Madame Merkel? Take your precious new rules and new EU-treaties and shove them where the sun never shines.
