For a nice change, the first thing I tried worked! I had the ATI Tray Tools utility running alongside the normal ATI catalyst control centre. After a restart (to try and cure the first bout of stuttering - possibly brought on my too many things running with SH3 windowed), this had reloaded, causing a conflict.
Quitting Tray Tools from the system tray and forcing the AA through the main ATI Catalyst centre seems to have restored my skies and frame rates! 
Thought I would share in case anyone runs into similar problems. |
