You'll have a type XXI with the 1945 torpedo loadout ( 6 type XI ZaunkönigII G7es and 17 TIII G7e) available from any flotilla from 1939 - 1945.

In base before a mission, the base can only supply you with the torpedo types available that correspond to that year of the war, so you really won't be looking to swap out any of your default load, and you'll already have all the 1945 goodies added to the u-boat.

Unrealistic, yes - but it shows what WW2 might have been like in the Atlantic had Hitler waited until 1946 as planned to go to war with England. Of course, by then the English miht have had radar mounted on most or all warships and would definitely have beefed up their navy.
