A German mag speculated that the V in combination with the chosen "Dollar font" could stand for Vegas - or Las Venturas.
This would make sense: a big city with much activities plus a wide landscape where they could bring back some countryside - and recycle some of RDR's scenery
I am still hoping for a setting in Europe, GTA:London 69 was awesome for its time.
