I thought this took us to 1945?

Thanks
Yes - you are seeing the last campaign "The Final Year"
It starts in 44 and ends on time in 45

I re downloaded these last 4 mods and re installed them as on my list above, then started a new campaign.

The loading time is ridiculous, ie about 7 to 8 minutes, however I got the screen with the new campaign starting in coastal waters and up to 1944.
When you start a new career or progress to a new campaign the game loading times will increase.
What is happening is that when a new career is created - your PC must write some huge files to SH5 docs. These files are very large and contain the whole campaign info with all the info about your sub, what ships will appear in game etc. (this is why campaign re-starts are required when updating info that will effect ships possition, type or campaign objectives)

Once this is done - your next save/load will be a lot faster as it only has to write one of these large files

I did this and the fresh downloaded versions were installed.

I also found that if I alter the skip tutorial code to true from false, the game wont load as above.
If I leave as is and play the tutorial, it works fine for some time, however having sunk the ships in the tutorial, I head for Kiel as asked, and the game ctds every time on the way to Kiel.

Any further ideas at all please?
Play tutorial without any mods. Then start your camapign (still without mods). save game and exit.
load mods - start new career - select skip tutorial
