Played SH IV for a bit long ago, recalled having fun with it, know laptop won't run V (and heard things about the drm...)

At any rate;

Will it run on Windows 7 without epic hassle?
It's 24$ from Ubisoft to direct download, yet 10$ new on Amazon, advice? (no clue where my old copy went.)
