I started doing research and thinking about the way I would like a game to be done. Now I have hundreds of pages written on individual ships, and a head full of pretty much useless knowledge. My game is half finished, probably always will be, but I'll bet I know more on 1892-1918 British and German battleship, cruiser and destroyer armor and armament than anyone I'm ever likely to meet.

It's weird what leads us to learn certain things, but in my experience that's the way it happens.
