your boat is moving (sometimes), the target is moving (always), the topedoes are running (always), so you you need to plan an intercept where the target and torpedoes rondevous. Start with the O'Kane method. See the Skipper's bag of tricks thread. Then move on to manual targeting.
O'Kane sets your boat up to fire broadsides. Even though the PK is not activated the TDC will take the information you input via the Attack Dials and calculate a lead angle so the torpedoes will find the target.
