Most years being a 'Nucks fan has been a curse. They are of course a good team of late but I would not predict a Cup Finals appearance for them again this season. My best guess is that second round will be our lot.
@the_tyrant: Don't feel bad, you could have a team that lost twice in Game 7 in recent history... that hurts.. or a city that hasn't had The Cup since 1915! (96 years!!) Not too many Vancouverites alive remember the last time the city has won the cup. The story of the Leafs is one of bad management, but at least there is also success in living memory. BTW, isn't the plural of leaf, leaves?   |

still, the Canucks are competitive, unlike the Leafs, most of my friends don't even expect the Leafs to make it to the playoffs
