Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome (geez, how big is your welcome commitee?) and then again to frau kaleun in particular for the lolboot-thread, which was one of the things egging me on to register.

And gimme one second to share this with you: Had a successful second Feindfahrt (What's this in English?) today, sinking some sixty thousand tons. Odd thing, though: Encountered a Geleitzug (again: in English? I still lack some naval vocabulary in English) leaving England and chased my Ugly some miles ahead, when I encountered a second Geleitzug approaching England. Ye gods, twenty-four merchants without any escorts! Dang, wished my Ugly could carry more eels. I don't think it will ever be that easy again...
