Thanks again, everybody. Has been a pretty good birthday. Went to the dojo to teach my Wednesday night class as usual and they had the kids all lined up facing the door to yell "Happy birthday!" when I walked in. Very sweet. Then sensei pulled some treats out of the mini-freezer after all the classes were over and we all had frozen chocolate-covered cheesecake on a stick.
Had dinner with the family this evening and got a nice whopping gift card from the international market where my sister works, which I told her to get so she could avoid running around looking for something to wrap. She gets a discount when she buys them, so they always end up being a little more than I expect to get which is nice. Which means this weekend's grocery shopping will be completely painless, lol.

Not so good this week, actually.
I need to learn to tell myself no. At least I haven't broken down and started smoking in the new car, so that's something.
