Spending taxpayer money to create public works projects for the sake of creating jobs and nothing else is a bad idea, and one that the Democrats seem to cling to.

No one is creating public works projects. The problem of crumbling roads and bridges created themselves! There is no fallacy here. No one broke a window. The window is crumbling away on it's own. It can't go on being ignored. I think Obama is smart here in addressing the issues of infrastructure that is a problem in all states. In addressing the problem jobs will be created. In short, the tax payer flips the bill for infrastructure anyway. Roads and bridges are not getting repaired by themselves. These problems need to be addressed. Instead of blowing billions in other countries it is time to funnel the money into the US infrastructure. I'm all for this if Obama is looking to repair infrastructure.
