this happens, if your sub took damage, which may got repaired and saving a game then. As the hull`s damage cant get repaired on the sea and you load a savegame with a damaged hull, the game engine damage the sub to the exact hitpoints you had while saving the game. While the game engine adds the damage to your hull, you may hear it
