Taking an extended lunch break... I was engaged in some building work at the time and we had run out of materials; with nothing further to do for the day, we bunked off to the pub.
I remember it well because it's one of the few times that has ever happened when I've been working, and for the surreal scene unfolding on the 6 foot sports bar tv projector screen. One of the few times it was not showing endless second division football matches to shouts of "gerrinthere!" by the various clientèle.
It would come as no surprise to know there was utter silence, too.
