When we were in Mayport for firefighting school a hurricane was forecast to arrive in the area. I think like two days before it was supposed to hit the fleet got underway and went to sea to weather the storm. We being on a USCG boat on the otherhand got underway and went further inland and moored starboard side to Jacksonville Landing granted liberty and hit the pubs.
It was a good time to be a puddle pirate
