My wife and I got married Sept 10/2001. Kind of a strange day for a wedding as it was a Tuesday I believe. She wanted to get married on our 2nd anniversary date that we met . The next morning we where relaxing in the hot tub looking forward to the future. I got out to check the weather forecast. The first plane had hit and 5 mins later, the second. It was just unbelievable. We where glued to the TV for most of the day.

We live in Calgary and soon heard about all the diverted flights that where landing here. The airport viewing parking lot is only 10 mins away and I spend some time there every week plane spotting. Should of been a great opportunity but from Sept 11 until a couple months later, I never went. Even the thought of it turned my stomach. Just curious if any other plane spotting fans had the same reaction?
