I think the coaches who preside over these teams found in violation should be forced to find another line of work for a few years. There seems to be an annoying habit of them bailing out at the first hint of breaking scandal for a higher salary elsewhere. Meanwhile the program they left behind is in smoking ruins for years afterwards. Coach Carroll of the Seahawks comes to mind. He's safely ensconced in the NFL while the USC program is paying for whatever shenanigans went on during his tenure.
