I've seen some names of some mods for Dangerous Waters, but mostly only "X has been released now, changes include" -- having some problems to understand what these mods are exactly doing.

For example ComSubSim? LWAMI? DWX? Can somebody explain to me what these mods are doing? Is it still possible to play the default campaign and the Red Storm rising campaign with these mods?
